BuildingsXchange: Building Relationships

Nov. 21, 2003
An Event That Is Changing How Products Are Bought and Sold
In late September in Park City, UT, approximately 20 key facilities decision-makers met with suppliers of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and energy solutions in a revolutionary, efficient strategic sales event that facilitated the creation and enhancement of relationships.BuildingsXchange, a live event series hosted by Buildings magazine, has been developed to satisfy the unique evaluation/purchasing initiatives of a select group of commercial facility executives who represent the nation’s largest developers, owners, and managers of commercial and institutional real estate. This fall, the attending executives at BuildingsXchange: Energy & Engineered Systems had responsibility for 1 billion square feet of commercial space and nearly $1 billion in budgeted 2004 initiatives. In private, one-on-one meetings between buyer and seller, the supplier selection process was accelerated through uninterrupted meetings with pre-determined agendas in a single location and a concise time frame. Decision-makers attended BuildingsXchange for the opportunity to interface directly with senior executives at companies offering a range of technological and strategic solutions to help them optimize development and modernization projects within their portfolio.Planning is under way for BuildingsXchange: Energy & Engineered Systems 2004, which will be held September 12-15, 2004, at The Lodges at Deer Valley, Park City, UT.
