Designed to teach facilities management professionals how to establish effective mold prevention strategies, the training is now available for open enrollment. The eight-hour Mold Awareness training course is designed to assist maintenance professionals and facilities and property managers in developing an active management and response program for water and mold-related incidences. The class helps participants better understand standard of care guidelines, and employ mold prevention strategies and investigative protocols in the event microbial contamination is suspected.

Participants of the class receive an ESS Mold Awareness and Management Manual; a draft water restoration and mold prevention plan; due diligence reporting forms; and upon completion of a 50-question exam, a certificate recognizing them as Fixed Site Mold Awareness Specialists from the National Registry of Environmental Professionals.
