With thousands of facilities managers and design professionals attending NeoCon® 2003 World’s Trade Fair, Merchandise Mart, Chicago, in mid-June, the judges representing the awards program from Buildings and BI-Buildings Interiors witnessed the latest innovations in solutions-oriented products, services, and technology for commercial buildings. In its eighth year, the Innovations Awards Competition featured products and services that solve today’s facilities challenges.With on-site judging of 22 “Citations of Excellence” recipients (a select group among the thousands of products featured throughout the three-day event), eight companies – one in each category – received Grand Prize awards.
