Teknion Becomes First Furniture Manufacturer to Receive GREENGUARD Certification for IAQ

Atlanta, GA, June, 2003 - The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute awards their first certification for low chemical emissions in the office furniture category to the Teknion Corp. The Certified Teknion furniture was tested based on stringent indoor air quality standards. The major lines of Teknion furniture were proven to have minimal impact on the indoor environment, according to requirements used by the US Environmental Protection Agency, State of Washington Indoor Air Quality Program, and the US Green Building Council.
