KI Introduces Impulseā„¢ Advanced Ergonomic Task Chair

Jan. 1, 2003

GREEN BAY, WI, June 16, 2003 – KI combines comfort, affordability, and contemporary styling in its new Impulseā„¢ advanced ergonomic task chair.Ā Designed by noted Italian designer Giancarlo Piretti, Impulse was developed to provide effective ergonomic support and a fresh aesthetic at a highly-competitive price point.

Impulse’s look is complemented by its advanced function. An exposed pair of aluminum uprights support the two-part back. The lower section of the back, which articulates, enables the end-user to recline while maintaining support of the lumbar area.

ā€œCustomers are demanding affordable task chairs with advanced ergonomic features,ā€ said Leo Welter, KI’s seating product manager. ā€œKI is addressing this need by bringing to market a highly advanced chair with a fresh look at a moderate price.ā€Ā Ā
Ā
ā€œWith many task chairs, you lose contact with the lower back,ā€ added Welter.Ā  ā€œThe lower portion of the Impulse chair’s back tilts toward you so the chair maintains contact with your lumbar area, even in the recline position.ā€

Backed by KI’s ten-year Structural Integrity Warranty, Impulse is available with or without arms, and with seat and back upholstery using standard KI, PallasĀ®, and C.O.M fabrics.

NOTE: Please note that the Impulseā„¢ chair, from KI, is no longer in production. (Note date: 1/1/2009)
