At the core of the Owens Corning portal is the BroadVision-powered "dashboard" which allows users to view content organized by industry, product, process and service. content that features news, events and 150 of the most Frequently Asked Questions, is presented on standard templates to improve navigation through the site.
A robust, centralized document library houses a wide variety of documents including brochures, datasheets and case studies. Information about Owens Corning products can now be viewed, downloaded, faxed, e-mailed or ordered online.
The global-ready website was designed to support multi-lingual and regionalized content. Documents are displayed based on geographic applicability, and the user can cross-reference documents in different languages with a single click of the mouse.
By taking advantage of the site's alert function, users have the ability to receive e-mail notifications whenever specific pieces of content are added or changed.
