Blue Ridge Industries Acquires Lowe's Modular Carpet Corporation

Ellijay, GA-9 April 2002-Blue Ridge Industries, a leading manufacturer of commercial carpet, has announced the acquisition of Lowe's Modular Carpet Corporation. The addition strengthens Blue Ridge Industries' already significant presence in the commercial carpet industry with Blue Ridge Commercial Carpet and Richmond Carpet Company. Lowe's will continue to operate in its Chatsworth, Georgia facility. The acquisition of Lowe's enables Blue Ridge Industries to immediately meet the industry's growing demands for modular carpet tile.
