ATLANTA, GA, December 20, 2001 – As the new Director of Contract Fiber Sales for major contract carpet fiber producer Solutia Inc., Kaye F. Gosline brings a special vision to the company:  a vision of color.   An experienced chemist and member of the Board of Directors of the influential Color Marketing Group, 23-year Solutia veteran Gosline is widely recognized for Solutia’s annual contract color forecast and other efforts to bring innovative carpet color to the contract industry.  “As a somewhat untraditional choice for my new position,” she said, “I’m proud to dispel the myth that nylon people know nothing about color and design.“In fact, Solutia is a big company based on sound science – and that includes the science of color,” Gosline said. “Solutia already provides the unlimited colors of premium Ultron® VIP nylon.  As the new Director in 2002, I envision that color will become an even stronger component of our identity with the mills, architects and designers we serve,” Gosline said.  “My vision is to expand our very successful Ultron® nylon brand of fibers with the latest, most creative color and style choices ever available to the market.  “That includes building on our recent launch of Ultron® Renew branded, 100% recycled fiber and my personal commitment to making ‘green’ initiatives like Solutia’s Partners for Renewal Program a business reality.  It will be an exciting year.”Gosline was most recently Manager, Contract Fibers, for Solutia.  St. Louis-based Solutia Inc. provides a full line of innovative Ultron® VIP nylon carpet fiber for all types of contract installations.
