The Quantum Pixel+, an electronic hotel lock by dormakaba, is a mortise lock with a 1-inch solid deadbolt and optional auto deadbolt. Honored with the 2025 ICONIC AWARD from the German Design Council, this lock combines sleek, minimalist design with dependable performance.

The lock electronics are hidden within the door, while the hardware design blends in with existing decor. Guests can access their rooms using cards or mobile keys, with contactless guest room access facilitated by NFC, RFID, Bluetooth Low Energy, or digital wallets. Access rights are assigned digitally to streamline the process for hotel managers. The lock facilitates extensive audit trails, with memory for up to 4,000 events. Lock programming and audit records are not erased during replacement of the battery pack, which can last up to two years. The unit is ADA-compliant, UL fire-rated, and tested to ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 standards.
