Armstrong World Industries Launches DataZone Ceiling Panels for Data Centers

The panels enhance resilience for digital infrastructure and are engineered for DynaMax or Prelude suspension systems.

Armstrong World Industries has launched its DataZone ceiling panels for data centers, which are engineered for a precise fit with DynaMax, DynaMax LT, and DynaMax Plus structural aluminum suspension systems, as well as Prelude XL Max 15/16-inch suspension systems. The ceiling panels rate a 0.85 Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) and 30 Ceiling Attenuation Class (CAC) per ASTM C423 and ASTM E1414, addressing noise control and durability requirements and providing a cost-effective alternative to premium acoustic solutions while maintaining structural compatibility for containment systems.

The mineral fiber construction of the panels ensures long-term strength in continuous-use environments. The panels are part of the Armstrong Sustain portfolio and include mold- and mildew-resistant surfaces backed by a 30-year limited ceiling system warranty.
