Clopay Corporation introduces the TruCycle line, including the TruCycle Service Door and TruCycle Security Grille, for use in continuous-traffic applications like parking garages, loading docks, logistics centers, and retail security. Both the door and grille are designed without springs, eliminating the leading point of failure in industrial doors and grilles. This ensures maximum uptime—essential in heavy-traffic environments. The springs are replaced with a direct-drive operator and motor-mounted variable frequency drive, ensuring precision control and soft start and stop for reduced maintenance and extended system life.
The TruCycle series also features the APEX Core SmartController, which includes plug-and-play connections to the operator and standard sensors that reduce installation time. The door is available in service and insulated models; the insulated model comes standard with an air infiltration sealing package that reduces air infiltration by up to 94% compared to standard doors, boosting its energy efficiency.
