This Window Film Effectively Reduces Bird Collisions

SkyWay Bird Film by Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions is an American Bird Conservancy-recommended window film designed to effectively reduce bird window collisions, conserve wildlife, and meet evolving building codes.

Suitable for all building types, the retrofit solution features a 2- by 2-inch spaced pattern of 1/4-inch neutral-colored dots. It also features a Material Threat Factor score of 15 as determined by the American Bird Conservancy; the organization defines “bird-friendly” materials as having a threat factor under 30, with lower scores meaning more effective tested material. The film is also LEED-compliant, as well as durable, weather-resistant, scratch-resistant, and UV-stabilized.

This product is a 2025 Product Innovation Award winner.

Judge’s Comment: “I don't know a property manager in this industry that hasn't had an issue with birds hitting their windows. It is unfortunate and unseemly, especially in the event that they fall somewhere that is difficult to reach, but easy to see. This product… is addressing an issue that I see many resigned to.”
