LiteTrace Brands has introduced two Keilton+autani thermostats integrated with networked lighting controls and listed on the DesignLights Consortium (DLC) Networked Lighting Controls Qualified Products List under Technical Requirements V5.2. Under V5.2, a networked lighting controls system can share occupancy data from its sensors with a compatible thermostat.
When a space is empty, the thermostat can move the HVAC zone into an occupied-standby setting, saving 8-21% on heating and cooling energy. In small and medium commercial buildings that don’t have a full building automation system, occupancy sensors installed for lighting can now drive HVAC savings too without a separate controls platform.
