    Modine’s VidaShield UV24 Active Air Disinfection System is a fast, continuous air disinfection system that combines an ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) chamber and air circulating fans with an optional overhead ceiling light, making it convenient for schools, universities and daycare centers. It draws in airborne pathogens and pollutants with an array of fans, then passes the air through a MERV 6 filter to trap larger particulates of dust.

    Pathogens pass through into a shielded chamber, where a 253.7 nm UV-C bulb neutralizes viruses, bacteria and fungi. Pathogens that the system helps eliminate include SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19), as well as viruses and bacteria that cause diseases like the common cold, Influenza A, measles and more.
