Lochinvar has introduced the Regent commercial tankless water heater, built to handle dynamic heating loads. It’s available in three models ranging from 500,000 to 1 million BTU/hr, with each achieving a thermal efficiency of up to 97% and featuring a turndown ratio of up to 25:1. This modulation range enables all three models to adapt to shifting system demands, delivering hot water exactly when it’s needed while minimizing energy waste during periods of low activity.
Its RealTime O2 Trim technology utilizes feedforward and feedback data for automatic combustion trimming, which ensures optimal performance and longevity. The units also feature an Ultrasonic Flow Sensor that detects flow changes instantly so the water heater can react in real time to shifting demands and provide consistent and accurate water temperature delivery.
