The Continental Building Automation Association (CABA) has named EBTRON to the CABA board of directors. The South Loris, S.C.–based company is a pioneer in thermal dispersion airflow measurement and control technology that delivers accurate, repeatable, and long-term stability for years of reliable operation in the built environment.
EBTRON will be represented on the CABA board by its director of business development, Darryl DeAngelis, who is one of the company’s engineers and technology leaders.
“EBTRON is honored to be associated with such a prestigious group, and we look forward to working with fellow board members to realize their shared vision of using advanced technologies to accelerate the development of intelligent buildings,” DeAngelis said in a CABA press release. “CABA members will be leaders in reducing energy and maintaining healthier buildings on the path to net zero.”
EBTRON is an active CABA member company and recently collaborated with other CABA members on a market study of healthy buildings and indoor environmental quality, which is scheduled for release this month. DeAngelis’s 35 years of HVAC experience and years of active involvement in ASHRAE standards and committees, as well as many other industry organizations, give him valuable insight into the industry's evolution.
“Darryl DeAngelis brings not only thought leadership but also extensive industry and technical experience to the CABA board,” said Greg Walker, CEO of CABA. “This collaboration will help fuel our mission to create the smart, healthy, sustainable buildings of the future through advanced technology.”
