Superior Essex mounts smart buildings technical seminars in Dubai and Cairo

March 1, 2022
The cable manufacturer, along with partners AEM Test and Measurement and MHT Lighting, will this month host instructional events demonstrating the latest advancements in sustainable technology innovations for smart buildings.

Superior Essex Communications has announced the schedule for its new Technical Seminar Series in the Middle East and North Africa, intended to advance expansive building projects in the region.

The company will be partnering with AEM Test and Measurement and MHT Lighting to host these instructional seminars demonstrating the latest advancements in sustainable technology innovations and solutions for smart buildings.

The schedule of events for the Superior Essex March seminar series is as follows:

  • 23 March 2022 - Technical Seminar Dubai, UAE
  • 27 March 2022 - Technical Seminar Cairo, Egypt
  • 28-29 March 2022 - CABLEXX Exhibition Cairo, Egypt

The core talk in the new technical series is entitled, “Sustainable Technology Innovations and Solutions for Smart Buildings: A Future-Forward ICT/ELV Digital Infrastructure Seminar,” which will discuss the drivers for increased bandwidth demand and storage requirements in smart buildings.

In the seminar, representatives from each of the collaborating companies will demonstrate how smart buildings benefit from deploying sustainable technologies and solutions.

Superior Essex, which currently manufactures more than 35 families of sustainable cables, also recently announced its MissionNext program, billed as the company's "comprehensive and overarching vision for the future that greatly focuses on sustainable manufacturing, products and partnerships."

The program's goal is to support further sustainable building projects technologies in the Middle East and North Africa.

The instructional panel in the announced technical seminars hopes to show regional seminar attendees how deploying sustainable technologies actually costs less today, and drives greater return on investment for the future. Leading these efforts will be Paul Weintraub, director of international business for Superior Essex.

“The Middle East and North Africa is exploding with cutting-edge technology,” commented Weintraub. “We see a distinct opportunity to support developers in this region who want to harness the power of our sustainably made cables in deployment of sustainable technologies in their smart buildings.”

The region, specifically the Arabian Peninsula, is known for its tall, grandiose aesthetically pleasing mega-projects. Dubai alone has more than US$400 billion worth of active and ongoing construction projects.

A full schedule of Superior Essex events for the remainder of 2022 will be released at a later date. Learn more here.
