Trim Your Escalator's Energy Bill

The escalator may not be the first place you look to cut energy costs, but it should be. Escalators are the most efficient way to move huge groups of people, but because most escalators remain constantly ready to take on a peak load, they pale in comparison to elevators for moving small crowds.
