Allegion’s LCN Senior Swing Series Now Features Self-Adjusting, Self-Calibrating Technology

Allegion US has introduced AdaptivIQ, a self-adjusting technology, to its LCN 2800IQ and 9500IQ Senior Swing series door operators. The LCN Senior Swing is ideal for heavy-use applications, like healthcare, offices, and other high-traffic areas.

The self-adjusting, self-calibrating automatic door operator now reacts to seasonal and daily variations and external pressures like wind, carpet drag, and HVAC stack pressure, allowing doors to maintain smooth, consistent operation and require less ongoing maintenance. It also now features a control box with 23 customizable user settings, a user-friendly LCD screen, a self-calibration cycle, and real-time diagnostics. Users with existing Senior Swings can gain the new features and technology by installing the updated motor gearbox and controller box via an upgrade kit.
