Appleton HEX LED Series

The Appleton HEX LED Series includes a selection of exit and emergency signs, exit sign and emergency lighting combination systems, and lamps-only emergency lighting. The emergency models have a 90-minute battery backup as required by OSHA, NFPA and the NEC. During an evacuation, the rugged lighting systems deliver lifesaving illumination in hostile industrial environments to help employees escape safely.

The products can withstand exposure to corrosive elements, high vibration, heavy impact and wide temperature ranges, and they’re also rated for safe usage in NEC Class 1, Div. 2 hazardous locations where flammable gases and vapors may be present. Standard versions in the series are operational in weather conditions from 32 to 122 degrees F., while cold temperature models have an internal heater and battery blanket allowing them to work in an ambient temperature range of -4 to 122 degrees F. Self-diagnostic circuitry troubleshoots battery conditions monthly, biannually and annually to remove the need for manual testing.
