    F/G Base Sheet is tough and durable and can be used as the felt layer in shingled roofing systems. It’s highly resistant to punctures and tears and offers superior pliability and dimensional stability. Made of an inorganic fiberglass mat that has been coated with weathering-grade oxidized asphalt blend on both sides and surfaced with granular fines to prevent sticking in the roll.

    Delivers enhanced weathering and aging characteristics, plus optimal tear and pull-through strength. Compatible with steel, concrete and wood roof decks and can also be used as a vapor retarder when coated with a solid mopping of asphaltic material or installed under roof insulation or between multiple layers of insulation.
