JM QuickFoam Adhesive Retracts While Curing to Eliminate Post-Rise and Reduce Telegraphing
Johns Manville’s JM QuickFoam Adhesive is a two-part, low-rise polyurethane foam adhesive for attaching fleece-backed single ply membranes to insulation boards, insulation boards to each other, or direct to the deck. It retracts as it cures, eliminating post-rise and reducing telegraphing through the membrane for a smooth, clean appearance. Once it’s applied, roof workers can walk in the board or membrane, roll it with a 150-pound roller, and let the bond do the rest. The adhesive also remains flexible once cured, providing impact absorptions.
JM QuickFoam is compatible with polyisocyanurate; HD wood fiber; perlite; HD Polyiso; gypsum; concrete; treated plywood; cementitious wood fiber plank; base sheets; gypsum; and some existing smooth-surfaced asphalt (per inspection). It’s available in cartridges, 15-gallon drums, and 50-gallon drums.
