    Metasys 14.1, an upgrade to Johnson Controls’ flagship building automation system (BAS), offers new and enhanced features that enable comprehensive energy management. This BAS combines HVAC, fire, security, and lighting systems into a single platform so that users can optimize operations, fortify cybersecurity, and meet energy and emissions goals.

    This update replaces the Energy Essentials tool with Energy Dashboard and Reporting (EDR), which visualizes and contextualizes energy usage as it relates to equipment and spaces. EDR supports a broader range of energy types, including electricity, natural gas, steam, and chilled and heated water. Other enhancements include Spaces Manager, which allows users to adapt to changes and gives them the capability to add, edit, or delete spaces via a browser.
