Spill Hero’s FloodShield is a flood defense line built around self-expanding, sandless sandbags that give facilities professionals and emergency responders a faster, lighter, and more storable alternative to traditional sandbagging during floods and storm surges. The bags use water-activated polymers that are engineered to stay flat, lightweight, and compact in storage. Upon contact with water, the bags expand into a dense, heavy-duty barrier that blocks and diverts oncoming floodwater.

FloodShield is available as standalone sandless sandbags or as complete flood protection kits, which pair the sandbags with absorbent pads, personal protective equipment (PPE), and disposal materials. FloodShield can be deployed in minutes by a single person and sits ready on the shelf until it’s needed.
