The Knox 4500 Remote Electrical Power Shutdown Station can be used by first responders during an emergency. The shutdown switch station contains a UL-listed shunt trip switch housed in a NEMA 3 container that can disconnect electrical power to the building.
This shutdown switch is protected against tampering or physical attack from unauthorized individuals. The device can also be wired to shut down electrical equipment and systems such as generators, power distribution centers, solar-powered systems, HVAC controls, and telecommunications equipment.
