Regional and Rapidly Renewable Materials

Material selection is always a huge element of new construction, renovation, and commercial outfitting. Although the percentage of points allocated to the Materials and Resources (MR) category decreased from 19 to 13 percent in the 2009 LEED rating system, materials remain the primary visual and tangible interaction points between occupants and buildings.
