Ruskin has relaunched its XP500 aluminum extreme weather louver with a low leak flange mounting option. The new flange frame for XP500 provides the same high performance as the standard model and is designed for direct mounting of the flange to the substrate, eliminating the need for mounting parts like clip angles.

The XP500 is a stationary louver with sight-proof blades that’s tested to FEMA 361 standards and ICC500 specifications. It protects against both large missile impact and class-A wind-driven rain with a single design. Combined with flange mounting, it meets the requirements for low leaks, making it ideal for critical environments like data centers and hurricane or tornado shelters.
