NWPX Park introduces its BreakTank water storage tanks, a family of non-pressurized, atmospheric storage solutions for secure water storage in domestic water and fire protection systems. These tanks are commonly used where water resources, supply, or pressure are limited; they rely on gravity for flow and can be installed upstream of domestic or fire pumps to provide extra storage and backflow protection.

There are three main types of BreakTank water storage tanks available: above-ground welded storage tanks, lightweight corrugated steel tanks, and strong precast concrete storage tanks for direct-bury applications. All are resistant to wind, snow, and seismic activity and are NFPA 22 compliant to support buildings with a substantial risk of fire. Typical applications include potable water storage, fire protection water storage, building or green roof irrigation, wastewater storage, and rainwater harvesting.
